This process is a daily setup of files for all Norway orders and is the first process to be performed every day.

  1. Open Filezilla and locate the Local site in Dropbox:

H5 Property Team Dropbox/H5Property/NO_PRODUCTION_H5/Photography/WIP/2024/November/

  1. Connect to server: ALL_PRODUCTION_edited images. When prompted with the unknown certificate window, click okay

  2. Go to the Remote site location and locate the folder for today's date

  1. Download today´s date folder into the local dropbox folder.  By selecting the local folder

Where you want to download the new information, upon starting the download it will automatically download to that location. After this check if the local Dropbox folder in the FINDER has updated. You should see the new folders syncing.

  1. While the files are downloading, open the browser and go to the Norway Photo App Dashboard: https://h5foto.no/admin/dashboard

  2. Open the Quality Control Report on Google Sheets

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1a_zXGLIxhguMG5L7TKrPui7vRkrvzCvVoqU8bXArcgE/edit?gid=0#gid=0

  1. Start populating the QC (Quality Control) file while the downloads are still in progress. Do this by taking the information from the Photo App

  1. You can find all the orders for the day in the Awaiting Quality Control section in the Photo App dashboard.

  1. The orders that need to be input into the QC File are the ones that have a Date of Photoshoot.

?

NOTE: If an order has already been delivered, an order that is in Quality Control, will display a green envelope. If the order displays a red envelope, then it means that it hasn't been delivered to the client and it's here because there are extras that needed to be added or the client has requested additional edits.

  1. Once the orders have been added in the QC file, check the AWAITING EDITED IMAGES to see what orders are still being worked on the the Editing Desk in India.

  1. Go back to Filezilla and connect the Norway RAW Server: NO_RAW_UPLOAD

  1. Within Filezilla, locate the local folder for today´s order downloads with the previously downloaded orders.

  1. In the Remote site section in Filezilla, locate the folder with each photographer´s name. These are the photographers that shot the orders that were previously downloaded. You can find the photographer's name within the order info in the Photo App. Each photographer folder contains another folder with the RAW files for each order. Locate the order number and then inside this folder there are 2 more folders, 1 containing the RAW photos and another one containing the PANO or 360ª files. Check that the Order number folder in the local site matches the order number in the remote site. This will ensure that the raw photos folder is downloaded into the correct location.

?

NOTE: By sorting the folders in the Remote site by LAST MODIFIED we can see the folders and files that the photographer has uploaded. This is also a guide to know how many orders each photographer has. If there is a folder in the server that does not appear in the Photo app that could mean that the status was not updated by the photographer.

  1. Within today´s Dropbox folder, where you previously downloaded each order, create a new folder called _COMPLETED.

  2. Check SLACK channel H5_PROD_NO to see if anybody has sent any messages about any orders that have priority and need to be worked on first.

  3. Before starting the edit, locate the folder for each order in Dropbox. This is the folder that was first downloaded at the start of the process. Rename the folder by adding the Company code which can be found in the Photo app. The name goes at the start of the file name and at the end, add your name in parenthesis, WITH NO SPACES. EM_22723_Havnevegen_213_HOMMELVIK_extra(Guillem)

  1. Once you´ve renamed the folder, go inside of it and create a new folder called FROM DESK. In this folder place all of the images that have already been edited by the editing desk in India. After this, each order folder should contain 2 folders One that contains the edited photos from India and the RAW files folder.

  2. To determine if an order has a Pano or 360º views, this can be done by going to the Photo App in the order details.

?

NOTE: If the order does not have PANO files yet, mark the local folder with an orange tag ?. This will signal that the PANO files have not yet been uploaded by the desk and you need to revisit this in the server to download them later.

  1. Go to Lightroom and import the edited images from the desk and the raw files. Begin edits.

  1. After completing the edits, locate the day´s folder and within each order´s folder create a new folder called: PRINT. Export all the edited images from Lightroom to this new folder.

  2. Go back to the Photo App and locate the order you were just working on. Upon locating and clicking in the order, go to Select all. Select all images and delete the images that were previously uploaded by the editing desk in India.

  1. Drag & drop the new edited images into the main window and wait for the upload to finish.
